The cottage had outstanding views of the beach and countryside, creating a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. The deck and patio doors allowed us to enjoy the scenery even during the winter months. The cottage was also well-equipped with all the facilities needed for a self-catering stay. The location was perfect, with a short walk to the beach and golf club, giving us plenty of options for outdoor activities.
The WiFi at the cottage was quite poor, constantly dropping out and being offline more than it was on. there was dog poo on the grass at the back of the house, which was not ideal for families with young children who wanted to play outside.

our recent stay at a cozy cottage in Cushendall exceeded expectations. The property had outstanding views of the beach and countryside, and the easy check-in process made us feel right at home. We loved the spaciousness and warmth of the cottage, especially sitting by the coal fire with a view of the sea. The deck was a fabulous space for bird watching, and the fact that the property was dog-friendly made it even more special. Triona, who helped us during our stay, was incredibly kind and helpful, offering solutions to any issues we had. it was the perfect place to recharge after a hectic year.
Only downside was dog poo on the grass.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy cottage by the beach. Triona gave us a warm welcome and even surprised us with homemade jam and other goodies. the beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies. the open fire in the living room was perfect for those chilly evenings. Plus, the convenience store just around the corner and a small supermarket nearby made it easy to stock up on essentials.
We wished there was some carpet in the lounge area for added warmth and comfort.

The cottage was in a great location, close to the beach and with plenty of attractions nearby. the locals were friendly and the restaurants and pubs were fantastic. We enjoyed having everything we needed within walking distance and the convenience of a short drive to explore other places. It truly felt like a home away from home.
We found the double bed to be a bit too soft for our liking. It made it difficult to get a good night's sleep and we woke up with some discomfort.

We had a fantastic short break at Ballymacdoe Cottage. The location was fine, with beautiful views over the beach and countryside. The cottage itself was cosy, warm, and surprisingly spacious. We loved sitting by the coal fire and enjoying the idyllic view of the sea. The deck was also a wonderful spot for bird watching, and we were captivated by the antics of the territorial Robins. Being dog-friendly made the stay even more special for us. The host provided helpful information about the cottage and the area, and Triona, the housekeeper, was attentive. We would definitely consider coming back to explore more of the lovely surroundings.
That there was dog poo on the grass at the back of the house, not ideal with a 2-year-old wanting to run around and an 8-year-old with a football. the WiFi was quite poor, constantly dropping out and going offline.
